An excursion to Toledo, one of Spain's most beautiful historic cities, whose medieval streets preserve traces of Christian, Muslim and Jewish heritage. Tour of the old town and the famous cathedral, a walk through narrow stone streets and an introduction to the rich history of this former Spanish capital. A highlight is the panoramic viewpoint with an unforgettable view of the city and the Tagus River. Return to Madrid in the afternoon. Overnight: Madrid.

After breakfast, we visit the Mercado Central, one of the city's most beautiful markets, and La Lonja de la Seda, an impressive UNESCO-protected historic building. Then visit the City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias), known for its futuristic architecture and unique setting. We end the day with a walk through the Turia Gardens, laid out in the former riverbed, with a chance to feel the relaxed rhythm of this Mediterranean city. Overnight: Valencia.
