01day 1Departure from Sarajevo
Departure from Sarajevo to Baku on 30 December. Arrival in Azerbaijan is on 31 December; your agent will confirm the exact flight times with the offer.
02day 2Arrival in Baku, Nizami Street and New Year's Eve
Arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, transfer to the hotel and check-in. In the evening, a walk along Nizami Street, one of Baku's liveliest pedestrian avenues, lined with elegant architecture, shops, cafés and restaurants. Welcome the New Year in Baku's festive atmosphere (gala dinner at your own arrangement). Overnight in Baku.
03day 3Shahdag mountain resort and Guba
Breakfast and departure at 08:30 for the Shahdag mountain resort, through the scenic north of Azerbaijan and the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. In Shahdag, an included cable car ride with panoramic views of mountain peaks, valleys and winter landscapes. Continue to Guba and visit the Red Settlement (Qırmızı Qəsəbə), the historic village of the Mountain Jewish community, followed by a walk through the Gachresh forest. Return to Baku around 19:00. Overnight in Baku.
04day 4Highland Park, the Old City and Baku Boulevard
Breakfast and departure at 10:00. The day begins at Highland Park, a viewpoint with panoramic views of the city, the Caspian Sea and the Flame Towers. Continue through Icherisheher, the Old City enclosed by ancient defensive walls, with narrow cobbled streets and historic courtyards. Visit the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and stroll along Baku Boulevard by the Caspian Sea. Return around 18:00. Overnight in Baku.
05day 5Heydar Aliyev Center, shopping and return
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Visit the exterior of the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by architect Zaha Hadid and famous for its elegant white curves and futuristic form, followed by free time for shopping and souvenirs. Transfer to the airport according to the flight schedule and return to Sarajevo.
