03day 3Istanbul – Cappadocia – landscapes from another planet
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Flight to Cappadocia. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Visit a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the region's characteristic rocks and valleys. 04day 4Göreme – fairy chimneys and cave churches
Breakfast. Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, famous for its cave churches, frescoes and historic monastic complexes. Tour of the valleys and the rock formations known as fairy chimneys. Stops at panoramic viewpoints for photos. Visit a traditional village or historic site nearby, as time allows. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
05day 5Underground cities and ancient Anatolian life
Breakfast. Visit one of Cappadocia's famous underground cities, such as Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı. Explore the underground rooms and passages and learn how local communities used these complexes throughout history. Continue to the region's valleys and traditional settlements. Lunch and free time. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
06day 6Cappadocia from the air – balloons and traditional crafts
Optional early-morning hot-air balloon flight, depending on weather conditions and approval by the authorities. Breakfast. Visit a pottery workshop in Avanos, a town known for its traditional clay work. An introduction to local crafts with the chance to take part in a short hands-on demonstration. Free time for walking, photos or rest. In the evening, a traditional Anatolian dinner with an optional cultural programme. Overnight in Cappadocia.
07day 7Cappadocia – return
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to Istanbul, connecting with the international flight to Sarajevo. End of the trip.
