01day 1Sarajevo – Istanbul – Lisbon
Meet at Sarajevo airport at the agreed time. Flight to Istanbul at 15:30 (Turkish Airlines, TK1022), arriving at 19:30. Connecting flight to Lisbon at 21:15 (TK1779), arriving at 23:25. After passport control, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lisbon.
02day 2Lisbon
Breakfast. A free day, or an optional half-day tour of Lisbon, the perfect introduction to the city. With a guide you discover the historic centre, picturesque streets, colourful architecture and the atmosphere of the main districts. Back to the hotel. Overnight in Lisbon.
03day 3Fátima, Batalha and Nazaré
Breakfast. Free time or an optional trip to northern Portugal. First stop is Fátima, one of the most important Marian shrines in the world: the Sanctuary Square, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Chapel of the Apparitions. Then Batalha and its monastery, a UNESCO-listed masterpiece of Gothic architecture built to celebrate the victory at Aljubarrota in 1385. Finally Nazaré, a traditional fishing town known for its mighty Atlantic waves, with free time for a walk. Return to Lisbon. Overnight.
04day 4highlightSintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais and New Year's Eve
Breakfast. Optional trip to Sintra, a town famous for its natural beauty and history: visit to the 14th-century Royal Palace and free time in the centre. On to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where the poet Luís de Camões wrote: "Here the land ends and the sea begins." Coastal drive to Cascais, a former fishing village, with free time by the bay. Return via Estoril, known for its luxury hotels and casino. New Year's Eve in Lisbon. Happy New Year! Overnight.
05day 5Coimbra – Aveiro – Porto
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Heading north, visit Coimbra, one of Portugal's best-known university towns: the old town, impressive university buildings and narrow, picturesque streets. On to Aveiro, the "Venice of Portugal", a town of canals, colourful moliceiro boats and Art Nouveau buildings. Walk through the historic centre, with an optional boat ride along the canals. Free time and a taste of the local sweet, ovos moles. On to Porto, hotel check-in and free time. Overnight in Porto.
06day 6Porto
Breakfast. A free day or an optional full-day tour of Porto. The Palácio da Bolsa, the merchants' palace built in 1842 on the ruins of the Convent of St Francis. The Church of St Francis, Porto's best-known Gothic monument, with gilded Baroque carvings and UNESCO protection. A walk through Ribeira, the medieval heart of the city with colourful houses along the Douro. Tip for the end of the day: the Lello bookshop from 1906, one of the most beautiful in the world. Overnight in Porto.
07day 7Braga and Guimarães
Breakfast. A free day or an optional full-day trip. Braga, the "Portuguese Jerusalem", a city of churches and monasteries, with the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary, its monumental staircase and panoramic views. Guimarães, the "cradle of Portugal", where the Portuguese nation was born, with a UNESCO-listed medieval centre. Return to Porto. Overnight.
08day 8Porto – Istanbul – Sarajevo
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Istanbul at 10:55 (TK1450), arriving at 18:40. Flight to Sarajevo at 21:10 (TK1023), arriving at 21:05. All times are local. End of the programme.

How and when do I pay?
Once our agent confirms availability, we send you an offer and a pro forma invoice with the contract. You pay a 30% deposit by card via a secure Monri link, by bank transfer or in person at our office. The balance is due no later than 15 days before departure. It depends on your passport. Our agent checks the visa requirements and deadlines when sending you the offer.
Can I travel with children?
Yes. The price for children depends on their age and sharing a room with their parents — our agent will send you an exact offer.
Is travel insurance included?
No, but we recommend it and can include it in your offer.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellations must be made in writing. 10% of the price is a non-refundable deposit when the booking is confirmed. Up to 45 days before departure there are no other costs, from 44 to 30 days we retain 20%, from 29 to 15 days 50%, and less than 14 days before departure 100% of the price.
