Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Lima

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Take a walk through Miraflores and the coastal promenade. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Peruvian cuisine. Relax after your flight and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Lima to Paraca

In the morning, travel south to Paracas along the Pacific coast. Visit the Paracas National Reserve for stunning desert-meets-ocean landscapes. Optional: boat tour to the Ballestas Islands to see sea lions and birds. Overnight in Paracas.

Day 3
Paracas to Nazca to Arequipa (night bus or flight)

Depart early for Nazca. Optional: take a small plane over the Nazca Lines for an aerial view of the mysterious geoglyphs. In the evening, transfer to Arequipa by night bus or domestic flight. Rest upon arrival.

 

Day 4
Arequipa City Tour

Explore Arequipa, known as the "White City," with colonial charm and volcanic backdrop. Visit the Santa Catalina Monastery and Plaza de Armas. See the mummy Juanita in the museum. Enjoy dinner with a view of Misti Volcano.

 

Day 5
Colca Canyon Excursion

Early departure to the Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest canyons. Stop at high-altitude viewpoints and spot vicuñas and alpacas. Overnight in Chivay or nearby village. Soak in natural hot springs in the evening.

 

Day 6
Colca Canyon to Puno (Lake Titicaca)

Visit the Cruz del Condor viewpoint to watch majestic Andean condors in flight. Continue the scenic drive to Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Short walk through the city. Rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

 

Day 7
Lake Titicaca – Uros and Taquile Islands

Full-day boat tour on Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating Uros Islands made of totora reeds. Continue to Taquile Island to learn about traditional weaving and enjoy panoramic views. Return to Puno in the late afternoon.

 

Day 8
Puno to Cusco (via bus or train)

Travel from Puno to Cusco – either by scenic train or tourist bus with archaeological stops along the way. Arrive in Cusco, the former Inca capital. Acclimatize and explore the historic center. Enjoy dinner near Plaza de Armas.

Day 9
Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

Day trip to the Sacred Valley: visit Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins. Take the train to Aguas Calientes at the base of Machu Picchu. Optional: relax in hot springs. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

 

Day 10
Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

Early morning visit to Machu Picchu – guided tour of the citadel and time to explore. Optional hike to Huayna Picchu or the Sun Gate. Return by train and bus to Cusco. Evening at leisure or farewell dinner.
