Livno – Wild Horses

The day begins with a scenic drive through the Bosnian countryside as you head towards the Kruwi Plateau, a remote and untouched area near Livno. Here, at the foot of Mount Cincar, you’ll be greeted by the wild horses that have adapted to this rugged terrain for over a century.

Upon arrival, your local guide will provide a detailed introduction to the wild horses and the history of the region, offering insights into their behavior and the challenges they face. You’ll then embark on a walk through the plateau to observe these incredible animals in their natural environment. Take the opportunity to capture some stunning photographs of the horses as they graze, play, and move freely through the expansive, open landscape.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, an optional nature hike is available, where you can explore the beauty of the plateau, enjoy its flora and fauna, and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
